"Using Sue's Mindfulness Coaching has undoubtedly helped me so much during a really difficult time personally. Sue is such a naturally warm and positive person. She is calm and supportive, and helped me to discuss issues, coming up with helpful strategies and suggestions in such a positive and caring way. I cannot recommend Sue highly enough, and thank her for helping me work through everything so I am in a much better place, and suitably equipped to move forward.” September 2024 (Name withheld for client privacy)

Mental health challenges are increasingly common. In England, around one in six people experience anxiety or depression each week, and recent research shows rising mental health concerns among young people too. Modern life brings constant pressure, uncertainty, and demands — and many people are simply expected to cope without the right tools.

That’s where mindfulness can make a meaningful difference.

My name is Sue Scarre, and I help individuals, professionals, and organisations develop practical mindfulness skills that support calm, clarity, and resilience in everyday life and work. My approach is grounded, accessible, and focused on real-world results — not abstract theory.

Research shows mindfulness can help with:

  • Overall wellbeing and mood

  • Focus and mental clarity

  • Stress and anxiety management

  • Self-esteem and self-acceptance

  • Emotional resilience

  • Building stronger relationships

Whether you’re looking to support your own wellbeing or create healthier, more resilient workplaces, mindfulness offers practical tools to help people cope — and thrive.

MIndfulness in the Workplace

Mindfulness training can make a measurable difference to workplace performance, wellbeing, and culture. When employees develop greater awareness, emotional regulation, and communication skills, organisations often see improvements in productivity, job satisfaction, and team dynamics.

Mindful communication encourages active listening, empathy, and thoughtful responses, helping to reduce workplace conflict and create more collaborative, supportive environments.

Mindfulness training can help your organisation:

  • Reduce stress levels and support employee resilience

  • Improve focus, clarity, and productivity

  • Strengthen relationships with colleagues, clients, and customers

  • Support a positive, growth-focused mindset

  • Help staff respond more constructively to challenges and feedback

One-to-one Mindfulness Coaching for Adults

Mindfulness practice has been shown to reduce anxiety and depression. It can be highly effective used on its own, but also works well alongside more mainstream therapies and prescribed medications. It teaches techniques to become aware of, but not engage with, negative thoughts and emotions. Constantly focussing on negative thoughts, whether worrying about future or ruminating on past events, can take over your life, which ultimately can lead to anxiety and depression. I can teach you how to stop the worry habit and to regulate your emotions to induce a more positive, focussed attitude, which can lead to greater success and happiness.
